SCHOOL STUDENTS EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO DBC UK TEMPLE

On 11 Feb 2026, , a group students with 7 staff of St Philomina’s CP School, Chelsfield Road, Orpington  paid a visit on faith educational tour to Diamond Buddhist Centre UK, Buddhist Temple at 17A Willenhall Road, Woolwich, London, SE18 6TY.  As usual, the founder president and patron of the Centre, Mr Sumal Kumar Gurung imparted a brief introductory speech to the students.  The students and the staff felt impressed with the introduction of the temple and Buddhism. Aftermath, the students and the staff were offered with some drinks and fruits from the temple by the Team Leader of the Monther’s Group, Mrs Sara Devi Gurung. The School student team was led by Ms Lisa York, the Class Teacher.

सेन्ट फिलॊमिनॊ सीपी स्कुलका  विध्यार्थीहरूकॊ एएटा समुह  र ७ जना स्कुल शिक्षक/स्टाफले ११ फेब्रुअरी २६कॊ दिनमा डिबिसी यूकेको गुम्बामा शैक्षिक भ्रमण गरेका छन् । सदाझै संस्थाका संस्थापक अध्यक्ष तथा संरक्षक सुमलकुमार गुरूंगले ती सबै विध्यार्थीहरूलाई बौध्दधर्म सम्बन्धि संक्षिप्त जानकारी गराएका थिए ।भ्रमणमा आएका विध्यार्थीहरू र स्कुल कर्मचारीहरू बौध्द गुम्बा र बौध्दधर्मकॊ जानकारी प्राप्त पश्चात प्रभावित भएका थिए । सम्पूर्ण विध्यार्थीहरूलाई बौध्दधर्मको जानकारी गराए पश्चात पेयपदार्थ र प्रसाद वितरण गरेका थिए । विद्यार्थीहरूलाई जलपानकॊ प्रबन्ध संस्थाकी आमा प्रमुख सारा देवी गुरुङले  गरेकी थिईन । यस शैक्षिक भ्रमणलाई स्कुलकी क्लास टिचर लिसा यॊर्कले नेतृत्व गरेकी थिईन ।
